Conference Objective

The main objective of the conference is to foster the dialogue between relevant stakeholders in the field of agricultural land protection (in terms of quality and quantity of agricultural land). The dialogue shall stimulate knowledge and professional opinion on the issue agricultural land protection in Central Europe and subsequently in the European Union.

Specific objectives of the conference are:

To discuss the level of agricultural land protection in Central Europe in the context of the EU territory – reasons for decreasing the quality and acreage of agricultural land

            •           measures helping to sustain agricultural land, stimuli for improving the situation at local/regional/national or multinational level

            •           To present latest research results related to the agricultural land protection

            •           To discuss or strengthen possible cooperation among different types of stakeholders
